About LastFollow

LastFollow is an iPhone app, published by Mert Sen FINDICAK and distributed through the Apple App Store under App Store ID 6746115791. It tracks Instagram accounts you choose and reports who started following them and who stopped. LastFollow is not affiliated with Instagram, Meta or third-party websites using similar names.

How the service works

There are two paths through the app, and they behave differently. Both answer the same question by comparing one check against the next.

  • Public accounts. You search a username and tap Track. No Instagram account and no sign-in are involved. LastFollow's servers check that account once a day, at an hour you choose in your own time zone, and compare the new list against the stored one. The difference is the result, and it is sent to you as a notification. When nothing has changed, that is reported too. You do not have to open the app for any of this.
  • Private accounts, and your own account. Instagram does not expose a private account's lists to anyone, including our servers. If you already follow that account, your own Instagram session can read it, so the list is read on your iPhone and compared there. The same applies to your own follower and following lists. Because this work needs your device, there is no automatic daily check and no automatic notification for these; the comparison runs when you open the app.

Reading a private account requires connecting your Instagram account and already following the profile. A pending follow request is not enough. LastFollow does not bypass Instagram permissions or account privacy.

What to expect from the results

  • The answer comes from comparing two checks. Because a comparison needs two points, the first check is a baseline snapshot and the first real report arrives after the check that follows it.
  • A check happens once a day, at the hour you chose. It is not continuous monitoring, and a change that happens between checks is reported at the next one.
  • Every name found is confirmed with a separate lookup before it is shown. A name that cannot be confirmed is not shown. When LastFollow is not certain, it says nothing rather than name the wrong person.
  • Results depend entirely on what Instagram makes available at the time of the check. Instagram may change how lists, visibility and account access work, and LastFollow cannot guarantee that any particular list or profile state will be readable.
  • LastFollow is read-only. It never posts, follows, unfollows, likes or takes any other action on an account, yours or anyone else's.
  • LastFollow is not an official Instagram audit log and is not endorsed by Instagram or Meta.

Limits on what can be tracked

  • One public account and one private account can be tracked at a time. These are separate allowances, because the cost and the risk of each are different. Re-opening a profile you already track does not consume an allowance, and your own account does not count against either.
  • For a public account, lists of up to 1,000 people are tracked name by name. Above that, tracking is count-only: no names are collected and the result is the daily rise and fall of the total, shown as a chart.
  • For a private account, the limit is 500 people and one list per profile, either followers or following. Reading a large list through your own Instagram session puts that account at risk, which is also why reading is deliberately slowed between pages.

Responsible use

LastFollow reads only what Instagram already shows to a viewer, and the person being tracked is not notified. That makes how you use it your responsibility.

  • Track only accounts you have a legitimate reason to follow: your own account, an account you run, or a public account whose activity you have a genuine interest in.
  • Do not use LastFollow for harassment, stalking, monitoring a partner or ex-partner, surveillance of any individual, or any other harmful activity. Accounts used this way may lose access.
  • Do not use LastFollow to build profiles of people, to contact or target people found in a list, or to publish someone's follower activity.
  • Do not attempt to bypass Instagram limitations, account permissions, blocked access or security controls, or to use LastFollow to reach a private account you do not follow.
  • Do not resell, scrape or redistribute the results LastFollow produces.
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, platform rules and other people's privacy.

Subscriptions and purchases

LastFollow is free to download; tracking requires a subscription. Any paid features, weekly, monthly or annual subscriptions, any introductory offer where one is made, renewals, cancellations or refunds are handled through Apple and the App Store. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. Apple also manages refund eligibility and billing support. A subscription buys access to the service, not a guarantee of any particular result, since what can be read depends on Instagram.

Your account and data

The app creates an anonymous account for you; no email address, phone number or name is requested. You can delete everything at any time from Settings → “Delete my account and data”, which permanently removes your server record, the accounts you were tracking and your notification settings, and is not reversible. What is stored and who processes it is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The LastFollow name, app, website content, design and related materials are owned by LastFollow or its licensors. Instagram and Meta names belong to their respective owners.

No warranty

LastFollow is provided as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we do not make guarantees about uninterrupted operation, error-free results, the completeness of any list, or the continued availability of any third-party platform data. Checks depend on services outside our control and can be delayed or fail.

Changes

We may update these terms when the app, website or legal requirements change. The updated date above shows when this page was last revised.
